Doral Townhouse Reno

This townhouse in Doral, Florida was a fairly new home, but the client was not satisfied with the standard fixtures and finishes that the developers used in their cookie-cutter house designs. To make this her dream home, we changed everything in it! From the kitchen, to the floors, to the bathrooms and closets. The kitchen design was replaced with contemporary cabinets in a light gray wood finish, a fresh glass backsplash to brighten up the room, a state-of-the-art stainless steel hood, and matching appliances. Marble floors in the main level deliver a clean and bright look, while a warm wood floor used in the stairs and top level keeps it feeling cozy in the bedrooms.

 

The wooden stair railings were replaced with glass and stainless steel, and recessed ceiling lights were added throughout the house. Custom closets and bathrooms were designed and installed according to the clients needs, and problematic bifold wood panel doors were replaced with modern Italian designs. 

 

Our favorite part? This custom home office that we created at the top of the stairs, replacing a white block of drywall with a sleek glass nook that became a conversation-piece desk.
