LA - Avenue of the Stars Condo

The main concern the client had with this apartment was an eye-sore in the form of a dated fireplace in the middle of the living room - so we decided to make a custom modern fireplace the centerpiece of the design by incorporating the entire wall into it. The TV is disguissed as a mirror above the mantelpiece, allowing for entertainment without sacrificing the luxurious atmosphere. 

 

Red oak hardwood floors, a matching kitchen, and designer furniture in clean, straight lines pay homage to a 1960's LA lifestyle, a bachelor pad worthy of Don Draper; while a custom-designed smart home system, complete with a retractable projector in the master bedroom, reminds us that we are indeed in the 21st century. Contemporary art pieces break the ice in conversations as guests are entertained in this open-concept design that merges a state-of-the-art kitchen, dinning room, and living room in a polished color pallet of reds, black, and shades of white.
