Hallandale Beach Apartment Reno

This reno takes us to a vacation beach apartment in North Miami Beach, Florida. The client wanted an open concept renovation and a light color pallet to create a beachy atmosphere with easy upkeep for their home away from home. To achieve this look, we had to do a head-to-toe makeover which included tearing down walls to open up the kitchen and building a guest room with a full bathroom. Then, we took down the wall-to-wall mirror in the living room and replaced the basic beige tile floor with a light gray faux-wood porcelain tile, which gives you a high-end look and easy of maintenance.
All the standard wood closet doors were replaced with modern sandblasted glass doors on a turquoise color pallet to match the theme and the kitchen was completely renovated with modern fixtures, a contrasting black backsplash, and an open design. Recessed high hatch lighting replaced the old light fixtures and clean, modern furniture was incorporated into the design. Finally, a pop of yellow in the dining chairs and a retro wooden bench to bring it all together with that SO MIAMI touch.
